Security & Privacy
to give citizens/users peace of mind
Because of countless examples of governments messing up in terms of keeping their citizens sensitive data private, the main objection most people have against e-government solutions are of a privacy nature.
If the world is moving more into the direction of making standard tasks in relation to government available online, the concerns of the people, that their data may someday show up on a public website, have to be relieved totally.
Generating trust can be achieved through creating PR campaigns outlining the security involved within the projects, raising public awareness on the websites about how the citizen’s data is being stored and which efforts are undertaken to prevent theft and misuse.
