Tokyo is the biggest city in the world with a population exceeding 32 million. So let’s say you had a shop set up in Tokyo’s most prestigious business district; then you could in fact catch the attention of a fraction of these people.
The internet has a progressively increasing number of users, currently at around 1.7 billion worldwide making it the world’s biggest marketplace without borders, city limits and geographic limitations.
The best thing about it is that if anyone of the 32 million Tokyo inhabitants were to Google for what your business offers they would find you if you have hired a professional to make you visible on the search engines.
Don’t make the mistake and think that e-business is rocket science. Just imagine the internet to be your marketplace and there included are all the things you know about business:
- marketing to get visibility
- lead conversion from prospects (website visitors) to customers
- customer relationship management and customer life cycle aspects
